I was lucky to come across Jorge Melicio's wikipedia page and the sculpture "Mother with Child". I love the idea behind hyperrealism, which I understand (in part at least) to be about highlighting particular characteristics such as lighting, shadow or color in order to emphasis their position or effect on a composition.
